Havre Police Department

A Lincoln Avenue caller Thursday at 9:35 a.m.reported a hit and run crash.

Thursday at 10:45 a.m. a Second Street caller reported a domestic disturbance.

A summons was issued after a caller at Havre High School reported a tobacco violation at 11 a.m. Thursday. No details on charges were provided.

Michelle Ann Bibeau of Havre, 48, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant on Sixth Avenue Thursday at 12:57 p.m.

An arrest was made after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported a hit-and-run crash at 5:29 p.m. Thursday. No details were provided on charges.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a drug offense at Hill County Detention Center Thursday at 9:52 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday.

Firefighters responded to an alarm on the 100 Block of First Street West at 11:14 a.m. Thursday. A company was working on the sprinkler system and didn't know it was hooked to the alarm system.

Firefighters were called Thursday at 1:04 p.m. to the 300 Block of Third Avenue for a gas smell. The smell was sewer gas coming from a basement drain, so water was poured into the drain.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held six cats and two kittens of unknown gender, two male and three female cats, and one female kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, two female mix-breed dogs, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler mix dog, a female pit bull terrier-Labrador retriever mix dog, a male mix-breed 16-week-old puppy, a male mix-breed dog, a male mix-breed 6-month-old puppy and a Labrador retriever of unlisted gender.
