It was a special season of high school volleyball along the Hi-Line, and especially in the District 6C East.
The league also recently announced its 2019 All-Conference team, with 6C East champion Chinook garnering four All-Conference honorees and two of the league’s three Class C All-State performers.
Chinook juniors Delaney Kellam and Ginger Hauer were named Class C All-State, as well as First-Team All-Conference. North Star’s Olivia King also earned All-State and First-Team All-Conference honors.
Joining the All-State trio on the 6C East First Team was North Star’s Kenidee Wolery, Big Sandy’s Amanda Cline and Chester-Joplin-Inverness’ Tatum Hull. The Second Team was composed of Box Elder’s Zayna Henderson, North Star’s Shayla Borlaug and Saige Scheresky-O'Neil, Chinook’s Jayden Miller, CJI’s Sam May and Big Sandy’s Lainey Gregory.
The District 2B also recently named its All-Conference Teams, and after an incredible season on the floor, several Harlem Wildcats were honored.
Three Wildcats made First Team honors, with Sarah Billmayer, Taeshon Schaeffer and Neveah Spotted Eagle, while Aspen Baker and Layla Skidmore were named Second-Team All-Conference. Spotted Eagle was also named Class B All-State.
