The Montana State University-Hill County Extension Service will be holding a series of gardening workshops this winter.
The workshops are designed to provide some of the basics for the beginning gardener and also provide some useful information for the more experienced gardener. Extension will have four workshops to begin with:
• Soils and Home Composting Dec. 18, Timmons Room Hill County Courthouse.
• Lawns and Flower Beds, Jan. 7, Havre Hill County Library.
• Vegetable Gardens, Jan. 14, Havre Hill County Library.
• Trees and Fruits, Jan. 28, Havre Hill County Library.
All the workshops will begin at 6 p.m. and last one to 1½ hours. People can attend one or attend them all. For more information contact the Extension Office at 265-5481, ext. 233.
