George Ronald "Ron" "Okie" Folk of Rudyard, Montana, 78, passed away November 8, 2019, at Liberty Medical Center.
George was born in Iola, KS, October 6, 1941.
George was married to Dianne Domire September 24, 1976. They were happily married for 43 years.
Throughout his years he worked in many different occupations - magazine salesman, bartender, worked at a fertilizer plant in Colorado, custom harvester, a truck driver for road construction and over the road trucking. During the Vietnam war, he drove a truck from coast to coast with nitro.
Some of his hobbies and interests were NASCAR, wrestling, game shows, football, entertaining his grandkids, nieces and nephews.
George is survived by his wife, Dianne Domire Folk; two sons, Ronald "Bryan" Folk, Chester, MT, and Kory Folk, Dubuque, IA; brothers Tom Work, Plano, Texas, Tim Work, Nashville, TN, and Richard Folk, Arkansas City, KS; Sisters Linda Claymon, Arkansas City, KS. Kaye Mason, West Plains, Missouri Connie Smith, Fort Cobb, OK, Sallye Anzaluda, Fort Cobb, OK and Becky Cray, Seligman, AZ; three grandchildren, Jacob Folk, Havre, MT, Ronald Folk Jr., Billings, MT, and Theison Folk, Dubuque, IA; three great-grandchildren, Kingston, Krimsom and Kennedy Folk, Havre, MT and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his sister, Vicki Sue Hutson.
The funeral service was held Friday, November 15, 2019, at Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church in Hingham.
