News you can use
Editor,
It was with amusement that I read the Havre Daily News article Oct. 7 quoting Rep. Jacob Bachmeier, D-Havre, basically blasting Public Service Commissioner Randy Pinocci for having an opinion Bachmeier didn’t like, and expressing that opinion.
For those of you that don’t know Randy, he is anything except unopinionated. He delivers on his promise to be non-partisan in attacking anyone suspected wrongdoing.
I am a lifelong Democrat and proud of it. I even supported Randy’s opponent in the last election. But having said that, I too believe in looking at people’s integrity and voting records. I have always supported the working people of Montana; it is hard to argue with Randy’s voting record when it comes to labor.
Disagree with him if you want, but it is wrong to say he is incompetent or that he misunderstands his role as a commissioner.
