Havre Police Department

Someone at the police station Wednesday at 8:12 a.m. reported the theft of a SCRAM continuous alcohol monitoring bracelet.

Jesse Shane Valdez of Havre, 24, was arrested on charges of burglary of a residence, criminal mischief vandalism, trespass to property and disorderly conduct, after a caller on Pike Street reported Wednesday at 8:31 a.m. that a man had kicked a door in.

A caller at a Second Street business reported two possibly intoxicated men walking down the street Wednesday at 1:46 p.m.

A hit and run crash at Third Avenue and Fifth Street was reported at 4:07 p.m. Wednesday, and arrest was made but no details were provided on the charges.

Key Shawn Roasting Stick was arrested on a City Court warrant after he turned himself in at the police station Wednesday 6:45 p.m.

A two-vehicle crash between a Fusion and an Outlander was reported at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday at Second Avenue and 10th Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Wednesday at 2:32 p.m.

Louis Joseph Morsette Jr. of Havre, 20, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Wednesday at 7:43 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two long-hair cats, one medium-hair 14-week-old kitten, two long-hair 17-week-old kittens, one short-hair cat and one medium-hair cat all of unknown gender, one female and one male short-hair cats, one male and two female medium-hair cats and a female long-hair 17-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning three female Yorkshire terrier-mix 16-week-old puppies, a female mix-breed 16-week-old puppy, three male mix-breed dogs, a male mix-breed 17-week-old puppy, a male Akbash dog, a female shepherd dog and a male mix-breed Bernese mountain dog. The shelter also was separately housing one female mixed-breed 13-week-old puppy, one female mix-breed 16-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed dog and a male 26-week-old Chihuahua puppy.

A girl was born Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, to Melinda Jones and Kevin Fetter of Harlem.
