A front-page story in Wednesday’s edition of the Havre Daily News released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Eastern Washington about forfeiture of property in a methamphetamine criminal case was unclear about the investigation of the cases. Havre-based Tri-Agency Task Force did the primary investigations in the case that led to 11 sentences and forfeiture of $163,500. Tri-Agency Task Force received the Outstanding Enforcement Prevention Treatments Efforts on Tribal Land award for its work on the case.
