4-H Rusted and Busted '19 concert set for Saturday

Rusted and Busted ’19, The 4-H Foundation of Hill County Country-Western concert fundraiser, is set for Saturday at the Great Northern Fairgrounds Bigger Better Barn.

The foundation is hosting the concert to raise funds to continue support for the aid and promotion of 4-H youth and events in cooperation with the Hill County Extension Office.

The event is a way to thank the community for its support as well as develop a new fundraiser for the 4-H, Foundation board member Shea Carroll said. In the past few years, the foundation has been reliant on businesses and community members support for funding. A number of businesses and individuals donated time and resources to support 4-H projects such as the new Chuckwagon building, which was completed last year.

Carroll said the foundation decided on a concert because it seemed like a fun way to accomplish its goal.

The foundation will offer concessions in the Bigger Better Barn and the event will have a dance floor, seating and the beer garden. People will need to present a valid ID before they are served in the beer garden.

The doors are scheduled to open at 6 p.m. to give people the opportunity to get something to eat and get settled in.

The show starts with two local bands, The Shotgun Betties starting at 7 p.m. followed by Plowed Under at 8, with the featured band, Country Lips of Seattle, starting at 9.

Tickets are $20 each and are available online at http://www.rustedbusted.com and at Gary & Leo’s Fresh Foods and at the door.

People can go to http://www.RustedBusted.com for more information and updates on the event.
