Lodge Pole man convicted of domestic abuse by habitual offender

After a three-day trial, a jury in Great Falls convicted Wednesday a Lodge Pole man accused of assaulting his girlfriend on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme said.

The jury found Jeremy Davis Wing, 40, guilty of domestic abuse by habitual offender. Wing faces a maximum 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release.

U.S. District Judge Brian M. Morris presided and set sentencing for Feb. 27, 2020. Wing was detained pending further proceedings. The trial began Monday.
