Kathy A. Hawley of Harlem, 65, was arrested on a state District Court warrant after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported suspicious activity Friday at 3:19 p.m.

A caller at a Box Elder establishment reported Saturday at 2 a.m. an assault in which a man was beat up, knocked unconscious and possibly not breathing.

Havre Animal Shelter
The Havre shelter this morning held one long-hair cat, two 13-week-old kittens, two 15-week-old kittens and one medium-hair cat, all of unknown gender, a female and a male short-hair cats, one male and one female long-hair cats, three male and four female medium-hair cats, a female calico cat and a female long-hair 15-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning one male and one female shepherd dogs, three male mix-breed dogs, a male mix-breed 16-week-old puppy, a male Akbash dog, a male mix-breed Bernese mountain dog and a male husky dog. The shelter also was separately housing one female mixed-breed 12-week-old puppy.
