A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft, forgery or fraud Saturday at 5:24 p.m.

Deputies investigated a 3:08 p.m. Sunday report of a sex offense from a Rudyard area caller.

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, three calls Saturday and one call Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a report of a gas odor Saturday at 8:35 a.m. on the 10 Block of Third Avenue. The odor was caused by a pilot light problem and the scene was turned over to a NorthWestern Energy crew.
Havre Animal Shelter
The Havre shelter this morning held four 12-week-old kittens of unknown gender, a female and a male short-hair cat, two male and two female medium-hair cats, a female calico cat and a female long-hair 14-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning one male and one female shepherd dogs, a male mix-breed 15-week-old puppy, a male Akbash dog, a female Labrador retriever dog, a male mix-breed Bernese mountain dog, three male mix-breed dogs, a female mix-breed 14-week-old puppy and a male mix-breed 12-week-old puppy. The shelter also was separately housing another male mix-breed dog and one 11-week-old female mixed-breed puppy.
