Havre Police Department

Nolan Earl Snell of Havre, 28, was issued a summons on a partner or family member assault charge after a caller on First Street Northeast reported a domestic disturbance Wednesday at 10:43 a.m.

A Havre area caller asked Wednesday at 1:08 p.m. to speak to officers about a sex offense.

A Sixth Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 6:10 p.m. finding stolen rings at a pawn shop.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller reported Wednesday at 9:38 a.m. that a railroad crossing sign in Kremlin had been stolen.

Clayton Cree Morsette of Box Elder, 22, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants served at Hill County Detention Center at 4:55 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Firefighters responded to a report of a gas odor on the 1700 Block of Boulevard Avenue at 9:26 a.m. Wednesday. The structure had been evacuated and the fire crew tested for the presence of gas but found none. The responding NorthWestern Energy crew could not detect a gas odor either.

Firefighters responded to an alarm on the 100 Block of First Street West at 4 p.m. Wednesday, but the issue was a false activation of the alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held four 11-week-old kittens of unknown gender, a female short-hair cat, two male and two female medium-hair cats, a female calico cat and a female long-hair 14-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning one male and one female shepherd dogs, a male mix-breed 14-week-old puppy, a male Akbash dog, a female Labrador retriever dog, a male mix-breed Bernese mountain dog, a female mix-breed 13-week-old puppy and two male mix-breed dogs. The shelter also was housing one 10-week-old female mixed-breed puppy.
