With last weekend's Bulldog Invitational in the books, the Montana State University-Northern cross country teams can begin final training for the upcoming conference championships.
Northern ran in the Bulldog Invite in Dillon last week, where the Lights took third place at the Montata Western Bulldog Open in Dillon, Montana. Northern had a team score of 2:20:52.40. The Lights average time was 28:10.50
Field Soosloff led the Lights running at 26:55.8 taking 33th place. Daniel Kirwa took 12th place with a time of 28:16.10. Kai Krumwiede crossed the finish line in 22nd place. Liam Baez-Terry finishing in 33rd with a time of 28:38.70. Luke Karnauskas took 46, Gabriel Strade took 61th place. Amos Taiswa crossed the finish line in 79th place.
The Skylights took fourth Montana Western Bulldog Open in Dillon, Montana. Northern had a team score of 1:46:33.80. The average time for the Skylights are 21:18.80
Allison Tigert was the first to cross the finish line for the Skylights taking 17th place with a time of 20:07.9. Rachel David come in right behind her in 18st place with a time of 20:21.4. Ashley McCready-Romero took 20th, as Kaylee Nystrom crossed the line in 23rd place. Raini Jonson came in at 26nd place and Kaitlin Nystrom completed her run in 27th place. Grace Schwenk took 28rd.
Northern, of head coach Chad Spangler, will now get ready for the Frontier Championships, which will be held Nov. 8 in Billings.
