Officials identify first Montana death of severe pulmonary disease associated with vaping

With the report Wednesday of the first death in Montana identified as being associated with e-cigarettes, or vaping, Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services said it is continuing to work closely with federal agencies and asked for the public’s help in the investigation of e-cigarettes.

DPHHS continues to work closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and local public health as this ongoing national investigation continues.
