Planned Parenthood of Montana in celebrating 50 years of providing quality, affordable health care in the Treasure State with an anniversary celebration will be held at the Panorama Room at the Great Falls International Airport Friday, October.
Since 1969, Planned Parenthood of Montana has grown from its volunteer-led roots in Billings and Missoula to a sophisticated health care organization with five health centers and more than 75 highly skilled, professional staff. From the beginning, the organization has prided itself on what it call the “three-legged stool” of Planned Parenthood: health care, education, and advocacy. The 50th anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate that history and to energize the organization for the next 50 years.
The celebratory evening includes a meal, silent auction and a no-host bar.
PPMT staff said the organization is eager to celebrate the Great Falls 50th Celebration donoree, the Rev. Ronald C. Greene, for his unwavering commitment to reproductive freedom.
As former board chair of Planned Parenthood of Montana and as a member of Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Clergy Advocacy, and numerous other endeavors, Greene’s leadership has proven invaluable and helped steer the organization through its expanding growth and visibility.
