MSU-N harriers shine in Billings

The Montana State University-Northern cross country teams competed in their second meet of the 2019 season last week. Northern traveled to Billings for the Frontier Conference Preview Meet, hosted by Rocky Mountain College.

The Skylights took sixth place.

There were 66 individuals running at the meet. Allison Tigert led the Skylights, as she crossed the finish line in 12th place with a time of 20:28.76. Rachel David came in 28th place with a time of 21:15.33. Ashley McCready-Romero crossed the line in 42nd place, as Kaylee Nystrom took 43rd. Grace Schwenk came in at 48th place.

The Lights took fourth place out of eight teams in the meet. Altogether, there were 69 runners that competed in the meet. Field Soosloff led the Lights running at 28:10.72 taking 12th place. Amos Taiswa took 16th place with a time of 28:41.64. Luke Karnauskas took 19th, as Daniel Kirwa took 28th. Liam Baez-Terry crossed the finish line in 30th place.
