News you can use
Jessa Chvilicek, Havre High Volleyball
Havre High senior Jessa Chvilicek certainly made the most out of her first two home matches. She battled CMR on Tuesday night, but was also dominant in Havre's home-opening win over Browning last Saturday. The three-sport standout at HHS finished the Browning match with 13 kills, five blocks and two aces. She also had a match-high 12 kills, three aces and four blocks in last Thursday's win at Great Falls High.
Reese Bulkley, Havre High Football
Talk about your triple threat. Havre High senior quarterback Reese Bulkley was certainly that in last Friday's home-opening win over Glendive. Bulkley threw three passes for 20 yards, but did so much more, as he caught a TD pass from Trenton Maloughney, and wound up leading the Ponies in receiving (67 yds) and rushing (13 carries, 85 yards). Bulkley is also a starter on defense for the Ponies, and is an All-Conference tennis player in the spring.
