Caleb Chambliss, Havre High Golf

It's been quite the strong start to the 2019 high school golf season for Havre High's Caleb Chambliss. In his last two varsity tournaments, the Blue Pony junior has finished second in each. Chambliss shot an 82 to place second at the Havre Invitational back on Aug. 22, and he carded a 79 to place second again at the Browning Invite back on Aug. 24 at East Glacier Lodge Golf Course. Havre is back on the course this Thursday in Harlowtown.

Mackenzie Clark, Ft. Benton Volleyball

It's no secret that the Fort Benton Longhorns are going to be good on the volleyball court this season. And Mackenzie Clark was sure good in her first match of the year. Clark tallied 15 kills and eight blocks in Fort Benton's four-set win at Chinook last Friday night, helping the Longhorns to a 1-0 start. Clark, a three-year starter on the volleyball court, is also an All-Conference standout in basketball and track and field.
