Crash victim rushed to hospital
Law enforcement officers investigate the scene this afternoon of a motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 2 at the top of the Holiday Village Hill.
Three lanes of U.S. Highway 2 were closed off from the Holiday Village Mall to the Best Western Plus Havre Inn and Suites because of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash.
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Cade Hill said the crash occurred shortly after noon. The driver appeared not to be wearing any safety equipment and was rushed to Northern Montana Hospital for medical attention. He added that speed may have played a factor in the crash.
The status of the crash victim was not known at the time this article was published.
Havre Police Department, Hill County Sheriff's Office and the Montana Highway Patrol all responded to the scene.
