Havre sweeping, chip sealing streets this week

The City of Havre, along with Havre Sand and Gravel, will be performing some road maintenance - chip sealing - Wednesday, Sept. 4 through Friday, Sept. 6, in the following areas of Havre:

Area #1

12th Avenue on 18th and 19th Street

18th Street and 19th Street from 12th Avenue East

Area #2

18th Avenue from HWY #2 to 1st Street NE

First Street NE from 17th Avenue to US. Highway #2

17th Avenue from 1st Street NE to Alley South of Main Street

Area #3

Monroe Avenue from 14th Street W to 14th Place

14th Place from Monroe Avenue to Jefferson Avenue

15th St W from Jefferson to Monroe Avenue

Jefferson Avenue from 15th St West to 14th Street W

The city will be sweeping these streets Wednesday, Sept. 4, and Thursday, Sept. 5, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and performing the chip seal Friday, Sept. 6 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

People are asked to Please have all vehicles and trailers removed from these streets during these times.

"We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and Thank You for Your Cooperation," representatives of Havre Public Works Department said.
