Havre Police Department

David Paul Patera of Columbia Falls, 55, was arrested on two state District Court warrants at the Hill County attorney's office Friday at 4:18 p.m.

Amber Rose Kirkaldie of Havre, 36, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, four counts endangering the welfare of children and no vehicle insurance, after a caller at Havre Middle School reported a possibly intoxicated driver.

Dylan John Hebbelman of Great Falls, 26, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, during a vehicle stop on First Street Friday at 10:17 p.m.

--

Gerald Gregory Talksdifferent of Chinook, 59, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on Fifth Street reported an intoxicated man on the road Friday at 11:05 p.m.

Officers performed an investigation during a vehicle stop on Ninth Avenue Northwest Saturday at 2:39 a.m.

--

James Jay Allison of Havre, 22, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at the police station Saturday at 8:01 a.m.

--

Officers assisted a 14th Avenue caller who reported Saturday at 12:43 p.m. that she had not seen her husband, who has health issues, for 24 hours.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Saturday at 5:25 p.m. to speak with an officer about threatening text messages.

David Wayne Baker of Missoula, 54, was arrested on a probation violation charge and Crystal Rae Bear of Havre, 47, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a Fourth Street caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the alley Saturday at 6:17 p.m.

Officers investigated a three-vehicle fender bender reported on First Street West Saturday at 6:44 p.m.

--

A summons was issued after a Fourth Street caller reported hearing a man yelling that officers were needed on the scene or he would shoot a neighbor's pit bull Sunday at 1:57 p.m.

Colt Ryan Billy of Box Elder, 33, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and driving without vehicle insurance, during a vehicle stop on Second Street Sunday at 7:50 p.m.

Taylor Vaughn Stiffarm of Harlem, 19, was arrested on charges of assault and minor in possession, and Raven Jackson of Harlem, 19, Lalayna Nova Mae Stiffarm of Harlem, 20, and Nicholas Christopher Stump of Havre, 20, were each issued a summons on an MIP charge after a 10th Avenue caller reported people fighting outside along the street Monday at 7:05 a.m.

Officers were called to Third Street West Monday at 7:56 a.m. to investigate a stolen vehicle.

--

Crystal Lee Habeger of Havre, 37, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a Fourth Street caller reported a domestic disturbance Monday at 9:28 a.m.

--

A Second Street caller reported Monday at 11:53 a.m. that her car was broken into and a purse stolen.

--

Paul David Jensen of Havre, 28, was arrested on a DUI charge after a Border Patrol agent requested officers Monday at 3:14 p.m. for an intoxicated driver on Ninth Avenue.

A caller at a First Street West establishment reported finding a dent in the side of a vehicle Monday at 8:14 p.m.

--

An alarm service reported at 4:02 a.m. today that an employee entrance alarm was activated at a Fifth Avenue business.

--

Callers at Third Avenue and Sixth Street reported at 5:15 a.m. today that a business alarm was going off.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Heather Ann Durbin of Havre, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Saturday at 9:56 a.m. at the Hill County Detention Center.

A Fourth Avenue Northeast caller in Rudyard reported a complaint Saturday at 6:14 p.m.

--

Rebel Denny of Big Sandy was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and possession of dangerous drugs after a caller near the rookery on River Road made a complaint Sunday at 12:02 a.m.

--

Desirea Lee Writingbird of Rocky Boy, 39, was arrested on charges of shoplifting, obstruction of a peace officer or other public servant and resisting arrest and on three Justice or City court warrants, after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft, forgery or fraud Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Friday, three Saturday, two Sunday, and three Monday.

Firefighters responded to a report of a gas smell at 7:48 a.m. Friday on the 1200 Block of Wilson Avenue and called NorthWestern Energy after finding a broken valve near the gas meter.

--

One engine responded to a fire reported Friday at 5:25 p.m. on the 2100 Block of U.S. Highway 87. The fire was put out quickly.

--

Firefighters were called to the 10 Block of Third Street West Saturday at 7:58 a.m., but the problem was an alarm malfunction.

--

Firefighters who responded to a gas smell reported the 2500 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West Sunday at 8:54 a.m. turned the incident over to NorthWestern Energy.

--

A fire alarm activation at 3:22 p.m. Sunday called firefighters to the 300 Block of Seventh Street, but the activation was from smoke from cardboard that had been burned and no action was necessary.

--

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm on the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 2:01 a.m. today, but the activation was unintentional.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one medium-hair 7-month-old kitten, five short-hair 8-week-old kittens, four medium-hair 13-week-old kittens, three medium-hair 6-month-old kittens, three medium-hair 6-week-old kittens and one medium-hair 23-week-old kitten, all of unknown gender along with two medium-hair female cats and one long-hair female cat.

The shelter also held this morning one female and one male mixed-breed 17-week-old puppies, one female and one male Labrador retriever dogs, a male mixed-breed 11-month-oldpuppy, a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a female corgi-pit bull 7-month-old puppy and a male pit bull terrier 9-month-old puppy.

The shelter was also housing one 3-week-old female mixed-breed puppy and one male and two female mixed-breed 8-week-old puppies. Six 7-week-old puppies and a female mixed breed dog were being fostered off-site.

A boy was born Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, to Talya and Tristan Manuel of Havre.
