Pizza Hut Benefit set for Peggy Hanson

July 20, 2019, the unimaginable happened for two beloved members of the Havre community.

Herb and Peggy Hanson were involved in a motorcycle crash. The couple were on a motorcycle ride near Cooke City, on the Beartooth Highway, for the Beartooth Rally when the crash happened.

Herb did not survive.

Peggy has been in the hospital since, recovering. Peggy spent many days in the intensive-care unit and is in a rehab hospital in Billings. Peggy has a long road of recovery ahead of her including possibly having to go out of state to finish her recovery.

Friend Crystal Johnson organized a Pizza for Peggy Night at Pizza Hut Thursday, Aug. 29. When people making a dine-in or carry-out purchase at Pizza Hut Thursday say they are donating to Peggy Hanson, 20 percent of the purchase price will go to her account to help Peggy and her family to help defray medical costs during the rest of her recovery.

The fundraiser applies to pizza purchased all day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Please join in and help this beloved family during this difficult time.
