Jaret J. Blackcrow was sentenced to three years on one charge and given a suspended sentence for jumping bail on that charge.
Blackcrow was charged with a felony count of assault with a weapon and a misdemeanor charge of partner or family member assault Dec. 23, 2015, after he was reported to have gotten into an argument and ended up pushing a television onto a man, injuring him.
He pleaded guilty to the felony Feb. 11, 2016, but failed to show up for his sentencing hearing in April 2016.
He was arrested on a charge of bail jumping this year.
The prosecutor told District Judge Kaydee Snipes Ruiz June 3 during the sentencing hearing for the assault charge that Blackcrow had not been cooperative during the presentencing investigation as well as failing to appear for the previous sentencing hearing.
Snipes Ruiz sentenced Blackcrow to three years with the state Department of Corrections, with credit for 113 days, ordered him to pay fees and surcharges and dismissed the misdemeanor count.
July 8, he pleaded guilty in a plea agreement to the felony bail jumping charge and Snipes Ruiz sentenced him to two years suspended, to run at the same time as the sentence in the assault charge.
