Havre Police Department

A Washington Avenue caller reported two aggressive black and white dogs at 8:50 a.m. Thursday.

A man was reported hit by a vehicle on Fifth Avenue Thursday at 9:20 a.m.

--

Natasha Rose Lohman of Havre, 28, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at City Court Thursday at 1:20 p.m.

--

A caller at a First Street West business reported Thursday at 1:41 p.m. that three July deposits were missing.

--

Justin Albert Moore of Dodson, 33, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of failing to produce proof of vehicle insurance, during a vehicle stop on First Street West Thursday at 6:03 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies provided assistance after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 at the east end of the city, reported Thursday at 6:15 p.m. a fawn had been hit by a car and was still alive in the ditch.

A 6:26 p.m. Thursday caller on U.S. Highway 2 Northeast reported a dog chasing horses.

--

A U.S. Highway 2 East caller reported a woman yelling at 6:11 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday and one this morning.

Firefighters responded to a smoke detector activation on the 10 Block of Third Street West at 10:45 a.m. Thursday. It was determined to be a false alarm set off by sheet rock construction.

Firefighters responded to a public assistance call on the 1000 Block of Second Street at 4:28 p.m. Thursday about a person who was burning in their backyard in a pit. Firefighters determined that the burn was not in violation of any laws.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held six short-hair 7-week-old kittens, four medium-hair 11-week-old kittens, three medium-hair 26-week-old kittens, three medium-hair 4-week-old kittens, one medium-hair 22-week-old kitten, one long-hair 22-week-old kitten and a long-hair cat, all of unknown gender along with three medium-hair female cats and one long-hair female cat.

The shelter also held this morning a female Labrador retriever 15-week-old puppy, one female and one male mixed-breed 15-week-old puppies, three female Labrador retriever dogs, a male mixed-breed dog, a female mixed-breed 8-month-old puppy, a female corgi-pit bull 7-month-old puppy, a male mixed-breed 11-month-old puppy and a male pit bull terrier 8-month-old puppy.

The shelter was also housing one 1-week-old female mixed-breed puppy and one male and two female mixed-breed 6-week-old puppies. Six 6-week-old puppies and a female mixed breed dog were being fostered off-site.
