Havre Police Department

Officers were called to a two-vehicle crash between a Camry and a Ford utility truck on Third Avenue Tuesday at 10:28 a.m.

A caller at a Second Avenue agency reported Tuesday at 12:04 p.m. that someone had stolen both vehicle plates.

Katrina Ann Lafromboise of Box Elder, 20 was, arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and on charges of violating restriction of a driver's learner's license, violation of child restraint and seatbelt violation; Darien Michael Lafromboise of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant; and Cecil Dean Lafromboise of Box Elder, 22, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, after a caller at a First Street West business reported a vehicle with five to six unrestrained kids in the back seat Tuesday at 7:11 p.m.

Tanner Joseph Walker of Havre, 36, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on Third Street reported Tuesday at 8:35 p.m. that three men were fighting in the road.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Kali Jo Henry of Box Elder, 23, was arrested on Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 5:14 p.m.

Darrel David Gardipee III of Box Elder, 20, was arrested on a state District Court warrant, Justice or City court warrant and a pick up and hold order at the detention center Tuesday at 5:14 p.m.

A Tuesday 5:47 p.m. report from a caller on Old Post Road that tree was leaning on a power line was referred to a service agency.

Deputies were asked Tuesday at 10:29 p.m. to provide assistance on Beaver Creek Road.

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Tuesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held six short-hair 7-week-old kittens, four medium-hair 11-week-old kittens, three medium hair 4-week-old kittens, one medium hair 21-week-old kitten and one long-hair 22-week-old kitten, all of unknown gender along with two medium-hair female cats and one long-hair female cat.

The shelter also held this morning three female Labrador retriever dogs, a male mixed-breed dog, a male shepherd dog, a male Australian cattle dog-blue healer dog, a male Labrador retriever dog, a female corgi-pit bull dog and a male mixed-breed 11-month-old puppy. The shelter was also housing a 1-week-old female mixed-breed puppy and one male and two female mixed-breed 6-week-old puppies.

Births

A boy was born Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, to Amanda and Derek Vaughn of Havre.
