Albert Kenneth Fisher of Havre, 78, was arrested on charges of open container, disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer of other public servant, after two callers asked Tuesday at 6:52 p.m. asked officers to check on the well-being of a man in Town Square.

Deputies investigated a complaint on Old Post Road at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Gina Kirkpatrick Schmitte of Hingham, 48, was arrested on a charge of violation of protective order, after a First Avenue Northwest caller in Rudyard made a complaint Tuesday at 5:50 p.m.

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Tuesday.
Havre Animal Shelter
The Havre shelter this morning held six short-hair 6-week-old kittens, three medium hair 3-week-old kittens and on long-hair 21-week-old kitten, all of unknown gender and one long-hair female cat.

The shelter also held this morning a male shepherd dog, a female Labrador retriever dog, one male and three female mixed-breed 8-week-old puppies, a female border collie 7-month-old puppy, a male Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 11-month-old puppy and a male German shepherd dog. The shelter was also housing two female and one male mixed-breed 5-week-old puppies.
