Havre Police Department

Kara Lee Blacktongue of Havre, 42, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served during a vehicle stop on First Avenue Thursday at 8:46 a.m.

Lynada Ann Seminole of Box Elder, 46, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on First Street at 2:34 p.m. Thursday.

A caller at a First Street West establishment reported at 12:05 a.m. today that a woman had grabbed her wrist and tried to assault her. Responding officers searched for the woman but were unable to find her.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud reported at 3:41 p.m. Thursday at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

A report of a non-injury crash of a Buick LeSabre hitting a deer on U.S. Highway 2 near Inverness was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one medium-haired 21-week-old kitten of unknown gender, four 12- to 13-week-old kittens of varying genders, one short-hair female cat and one long-hair female cat. Another 10 cats and kittens were being held separately.

The shelter also held this morning a male shepherd dog, a female border collie 6-month-old puppy, a male American bulldog a male mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy, a male mixed-breed 21-week-old puppy and a male German shepherd dog.
