The 2019 Great Northern Fair has started this week, with 4-H starting setup Sunday, open class entry exhibits being accepted Monday and today, 4-H interviews taking place this morning and setup in the Commercial Building also starting this morning.
The full activities start Wednesday, with open class entries open for viewing, the midway opening and arena entertainment starting with the Junior Rodeo at 7 p.m.
A slate of free entertainment also is set, and free activities are happening during the day in the arena sandwiching Thursday night's Great Northern Ram Rodeo and Friday night's Cody FourColors Memorial Bull Riding.

Tuesday July 16
8:45 a.m. to noon - 4-H Interview Day at Havre Middle School
8 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Open class entry
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Commercial Building booths setup

8 a.m. to noon - Open class entry judging
9 a.m. - Bigger Better Barn concessions open to public
10 a.m. - 4-H Horse Show

Noon to 9 p.m. - Open class entries viewing
4 p.m. - 4-H Chuckwagon opens to public for concessions and exhibit viewing
4 p.m. to midnight - Carnival open

11 a.m. and 3 p.m. - Indian Relay in the arena
11:30 a.m. - Buyer Appreciation Lunch at Bigger Better Barn
Noon to 6 p.m. - Commercial Building will be open
1 p.m. - Carnival opens
1 p.m. - 4-H Market Sale in Bigger Better Barn
3:30 p.m. - Bigger Better Barn concessions close
4:30 p.m. - Non-animal 4-H exhibits may be removed from the 4-H Chuckwagon
5 p.m. - Cleanup: 4-H Chuckwagon, Bigger Better Barn and Beef Barn - Please note that all 4-H members, leaders and parents are expected to participate in fair cleanup.
