Lawrence W. Russette, 57, passed away due to natural causes on Friday, July 5, 2019, in San Pedro, California.
Wake services began at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 1:00 p.m. today, Monday, July 15, all at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Box Elder. Burial will follow in the Russette Family Cemetery.
Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Lawrence was born September 19, 1961, in Fort Belknap to Gene and Frances (Mann) Russette. He was raised in Rocky Boy, where he attended the Box Elder and Rocky Boy schools. Following his high school years, he attended Haskell Junior College in Kansas City. He also attended Stone Child College, where he received his certificate in construction. For many years, Lawrence worked for Belcourt Morsette Construction and the Chippewa Cree Construction Corp.
He enjoyed roping, gambling, and joking around with his friends and family. His family was very important to him, and he absolutely loved spending time with his children and their families.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his father, Gene Russette, brother Pete Russette, and an infant sibling.
He is survived by his daughters, Trea (Moose Raining Bird) Nault and Misty (Tommy Henderson) Nault, all of Box Elder, Sasha Chief Goes Out of Missoula, Laurna Chief Goes Out of Browning, Sunny Stump of Billings, Nicole Gardipee, and Laverna Chief Goes Out; sons, Adrian (Kayla Ameline) Nault of Rocky Boy, Jacob Russette and Brian (Emma) Rosette, all of Box Elder, Dustin Russette of Missoula, Pete LongKnife, and Zane Lamere; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; mother Frances Russette of Rocky Boy; sisters, Tina Russette of Rocky Boy, Kristina Russette of Spokane, WA, and Alyssa Stanley; brother Russell Russette of Rocky Boy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and lifelong friends.
