Owen Bryce Kaupang or Havre, 18, was issued a summons on charges of careless driving, trespass to property and operating a vehicle without valid registration, after a caller asked Saturday at 8:59 p.m. for assistance in a matter involving an all-terrain vehicle.

Officers assisted sheriff's deputies on a call at 8:59 p.m. Friday near the Great Northern Fairgrounds with a man who had been hit by a vehicle.

Jona Jo Bear of Great Falls, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on Third Street.

Raymond Windyboy of Box Elder, 57, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and open container in city, after a caller at a First Street West establishment asked officers to check on a man who was lying down in a parking lot.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
Wednesday at Hill County Detention Center a drug offense was reported at 5:33 p.m. and an assault that required no further action at 5:34 p.m.

An arrest was made during a vehicle stop on First Street West, but no details on the charges were made available.

An emergency call Thursday at 1:22 p.m. about an 8-year-old injured from a firework on Eaglewood Street on Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation was transferred to another agency.

Tanner Joseph Walker of Havre, 36, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, at the detention center Saturday at 1:06 a.m.

A 4:18 a.m. Sunday call about an aggressive, intoxicated man at a U.S. Highway 87 establishment was transferred to Rocky Boy Police Department.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Thursday, five Friday, six Saturday and two Sunday.

Firefighters responded to two calls early Friday morning. The first was a debris fire from smoldering fireworks on the 3000 Block of Second Street West at 12:03 a.m. The second call, at 12:34 a.m. was of a wheelbarrow fire on the 10 Block of Curve Drive, but nothing was found.

Firefighters responded to two calls Sunday. The first was for an unattended campfire at 9:35 a.m. on the 800 Block of Third Street where the crew extinguished ashes that were smoldering in a fire pit. The other call was a malfunctioning carbon-monoxide detector on the 800 Block of Sixth Street.
Havre Animal Shelter
The Havre shelter this morning held one medium-hair cat, two 10-week-old medium-hair kittens and four 11-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, and one medium-hair male cat, one short-hair female cat, one medium-hair female cat and one long-haired cat.

The shelter also held this morning a male Lhasa Apso dog, a male shepherd dog, a female border collie 26-week-old puppy, a male mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy and a female mixed-breed 6-month-old puppy.
Births
A girl was born Wednesday, July 3, 2019, to Amy Murdock and Winston Stewart of Fort Belknap.
