Havre Police Department

A First Avenue caller reported receiving a FedEx package belonging to a neighbor and asked officers at 9:03 a.m. Wednesday for assistance delivering it to the correct address.

James Cole Burns of Box Elder, 32, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and Jarason Louis Oats of Box Elder, 28, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, after a caller at the hospital reported a man looking in vehicles Wednesday at 3:12 p.m.

Glenn Scott Patterson of Havre, 59, was arrested on charges of threats in official and political matters, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and assault by coercion, intimidation or threat, after a Ninth Avenue caller reported a man yelling at a neighbor Wednesday at 4:52 p.m.

Two summonses were issued or arrests made after a Third Street caller reported a young boy, who might need assistance, was sitting alone Wednesday at 7:29 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical services responded to one call Wednesday and one call this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one medium-hair cat, two 9-week-old medium-hair kittens and four 10-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, and one medium-hair male cat, one short-hair female cats, one medium-hair female cat and one long-hair female cat.

The shelter also held this morning a male shepherd dog, a female border collie 26-week-old puppy, a male Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy and a female mixed-breed 6-month-old puppy.
