A former Montana State University-Northern wrestling standout is making his way up the ranks in the world of UFC and Mixed Martial Arts.
Hunter Azure, who wrestled two season for the Lights, and was a four-time Class B-C state champion at Poplar, will be featured on UFC owner Dana White's Contender Series next Tuesday night. Azure has a professional record of 6-0, and he competed in the 2018 Lights Out at the Dome in Havre. He competes in the Featherweight division at 145 pounds, training out of the MMA Lab in Phoenix. Azure will take on Chris Ocon, who is 2-0 in the episode of Dana White's Contender Series, which will air live on ESPN+.
