Christian author presenting in Havre

Press release

Author Cheryl Heser of Forsyth will present a program in Havre Sunday, July 7, following a book signing at Barnes and Noble in Great Falls, all part of the outreach for her book published by Morgan James Publishing of New York.

"Christian Thoughts on Grief and Healing" will be hosted by the Van Orsdel Methodist Church in the Fireside Room at 410 Fifth Ave. July 7 from 7 to 8 p.m., with questions and book signing time extending until 8:30 p.m.

"Walking at the Speed of Light: Reflections for Following Jesus in Grief and Joy" is a collection of reflections based on aspects of light which begins with the story of the death of Heser's son Joshua and her grief and faith experiences.

The book focuses on Jesus as the Light of the World and the healing which comes through learning through Him and practicing forward thinking. The purpose of the program is to offer ideas to help people dealing with grief and depression as well as their friends and families.

The book was officially released September 11, 2018, by Morgan James Publishing and its Faith division, and can be purchased at Christian and regular bookstores as well as online as either a print book or ebook.
