Olive was born May 13, 1934, to Joseph and Clara (Gardipee) Parisian. She was the sixth of nine children born to Joe and Clara. She attended school in Rocky Boy and eventually received her GED. While she was still in high school, she met and married Joseph Daniel Rosette June 4, 1950, when she was just 16 years old. Olive graduated from Northern Montana College with a degree in elementary education.

After graduation, she went to work at Box Elder Schools and taught there for more than 20 years as the second-grade teacher but was in the school system for more than 30 years.

Olive and Joe had eight children, and they were always taking in kids that needed help and provided them with love and shelter as if they were her own.

She loved reading, playing cribbage with her family, and rings on her fingers; and she always had her nails done by professionals. Christmas with her family was a favorite holiday. When people would come to visit to her, she would sit and listen, and with her fingers write in cursive on her leg to comfort herself. She adored her children and grandchildren, and always had Gummy Bears to share with her grandchildren.

Mom was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Rosette; her dad and mom, Joe and Clara Parisian; brothers Paul, Edward (Sarah), and Zeke Parisian; sisters Stella Flannagin, Margaret (Charlie) Swan, Lena (Bud) Stamper, and Mary “Bibs” (Doug) Douglas; and her daughter May Lou.

Survivors include her sister Bernadette (Doug) Lords of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and brother Lenny Parisian of Box Elder; daughters Pam (Scott) Austin, Maureen (Rick Holcomb) Rosette of Spokane, Washington, Yvonne (Jon) Hill of Missoula, Montana, and Kathy (Ronnie Joe) Henry of Box Elder; sons, Joey (Chine) Rosette, Jr., Neal (Robin) Rosette and Tim (Lori) Rosette, all of Box Elder; she is also survived by her 27 grandkids, 52 great-grandkids, three great-great-grandkids, and a ton of cousins, nieces and nephews.
