From Fort Peck Summer Theatre
One mother. One daughter. Three possible dads — “Mamma Mia!” is making its Fort Peck Summer Theatre debut. With dozens of ABBA’s famous hits, the play is likely to be a standing-room only production.
Making her Fort Peck Summer Theatre debut, Carolyn McPhee stars as Donna, alongside Glasgow native Hailey Stone as her daughter Sophie, and Jacob Herrera as the groom-to-be.
Alicia Bullock-Muth and Darci Monsos play Donna’s former backup singers, Rosie and Tanya, with David Cody, head of vocal performance at University of Montana, Royce McIntosh, who has performed on national tours of “Mamma Mia!,” “Elf” and “South Pacific,” and Fort Peck Summer Theatre Artistic Director Andy Meyers as the three possible dads.
“Mamma Mia!” is directed by Joseph Martinez, artistic director of Missoula Children’s Theatre, with musical direction by Luree Green-Chappell and choreography by Meyers. Theresa Jenson returns to Fort Peck Summer Theatre as scenic designer for the production.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 21, Saturday, June 22, Friday, June 28, Friday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6.
