Deputies provided assistance to Havre Fire Department on a gas line leak call at 11:05 a.m. Friday.

Vern Thomas Gardipee Jr. of Rocky Boy, 34, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and a probation violation charge at Wildhorse Port of Entry Saturday at 8:12 p.m.

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday, four Saturday and three Sunday.

Firefighters responded to two calls Friday. At 11:01 a.m. a smoke detector on the 900 Block of 18th Street was unintentionally set off while someone was working on it. At 11:05 a.m. a caller reported a gas leak on the 2600 Block of 38th Street Southeast, and the crew provided standby assistance until NorthWestern Energy arrived.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, two long-hair cats and one 15-week-old medium hair kitten, all of unknown gender; two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and one medium-hair female cat.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog, a male Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy and a female mixed-breed 8-month-old puppy.

A girl was born Thursday, June 13, 2019, to Stephanie Rae Sutherland of Rocky Boy.
