Letter to the Editor - Thanks for supporting Northern, keep it up

Dear Editor,

You and many of your readers probably know by now, today, Friday June 14, will be my last day as the executive director of the Montana State University-Northern Alumni Foundation. Before leaving, I wanted to thank everyone in the community who has been so supportive of MSU-Northern and the Northern Alumni Foundation during my tenure over the past five years.

Northern has the kind of students that we all can root for — hard-working, respectful and community-minded. I’ve seen our students help repair ranch fences burned up by wildfires, compete for national championships in athletics, present their scientific research at national conferences and volunteer for community activities. These experiences, both in and out of the classroom, are made possible from the support of our alumni and community and I thank you all for your support.

Whether you volunteered at an event, offered an internship to a Northern student or made a financial contribution, your support has been noticed and it is very much appreciated. Thank you to everyone for continuing to support the students of MSU-Northern.
