A lot of scam calls are being made trying to get your personal information. Know this, Medicare and Social Security will not call you. Keep checking Medicare bills against your hospital and doctor statements. We are finding a lot of errors. Do not give any identifiable information out to anyone calling you. Make sure they get no information. Hang up. If you need help call the Senior Center or the police.
FundRaiser: We will be preparing for our spring/summer fund raiser. Be on the lookout for information as to when. If you would like to donate items or time to help with it, please let us know.
Depending on interest, Marci will present a workshop on reading and understanding your Medicare Statement. There is a series of four videos that take a total of 20 minutes. This will help you be more in charge of your Medicare bills. This workshop will be presented June 13 and 20 here at Senior Center at 11:30 a.m., if there is enough interest we will let you all know. I will put it in the paper next week.
