Matthew J. Brix was sentenced to spend two years in custody after he pleaded guilty to selling methamphetamine.
Brix was charged Sept. 26, 2018, with a felony count of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs after the Tri-Agency Task Force performed a controlled purchase from him Jan 19, 2017.
He pleaded guilty Jan. 16.
District Judge Jon Oldenburg sentenced Brix in state Disrtrict Court in Havre April 15 to five years with the state Department of Corrections with three years suspended and ordered him to pay fees and surcharges, $800 for the cost of assigned counsel, suspended upon completion of sentence, $1,400 in restitution and $490 in a mandatory drug storage fee.
