HMS lists students of the month

Havre Middle School's Sixth-Grade Student of the Month for May is Jaycee Keeler.

Jaycee is the daughter of Jason and Kim Keeler. She has three siblings, Ryleigh, McKenna and Kieran Keeler.

Jaycee participates in track and cross country at HMS. In her spare time, she loves hanging around friends at the park and doing things with her mother.

Teachers comment on Jaycee's politeness and how respectful she is as a student. She works hard and instinctively knows what needs to be done in the classroom. Jaycee is always helpful and supportive of her classmates when they need assistance. She is a joy to be around and makes the middle school a great place for everyone.

Jaycee's future goal is to become a nurse or work with kids. She would also like to run in marathons.

May's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month at HMS is Duncan Stickel.

Duncan is the son of Joe and Glenda Stickel. He has two brothers, Fred and Patrick, and one sister, Claire Stickel.

Duncan is active member in the jazz band and is also a part of Havre Middle Schools Gifted and Talented program. Outside of school. Duncan spends his time playing soccer, doing magic tricks, creating origami or hanging out with friends.

In the classroom, Duncan's positive attitude contributes to his stellar academic success. He is an outstanding gentleman who respects his teachers, elders and peers. His personality makes him stand out as an exceptional student at Havre Middle School.

In the future Duncan plans to attend college to become an orthodontist.

Alisyn Maloughney is HMS's Eighth-Grade Student of the Month for May.

Alisyn is the daughter of Jack and Kari Maloughney. She has two siblings, Katelyn and Trenton Maloughney.

Alisyn's participates in track, volleyball, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, and Spotlighters at Havre Middle School. Other activities Alisyn is involved in are softball and swimming for the Lions swim team. She also enjoys being around friends and cracking jokes with everyone around her.

As a student, Alisyn is always upbeat and exceeding expectations. She is a team player who sparks others to follow in a positive direction. Alisyn shows every aspect of HMS's "Code of Character" in everything she does. She has a tremendous work ethic and sets high standards for other HMS students to follow.

Alisyn's future plans are to attend college and become an attorney.
