Havre Police Department

A caller reported at 9:19 a.m. Thursday that a truck had rolled from a parking lot on U.S. Highway 2 West into the fence at the city water plant.

Tesla Rose Hoops of Havre, 29, was arrested on a charge of driving without insurance and on a Justice or City court warrant, during a vehicle stop on 10th Avenue Thursday at 5:06 p.m.

Claudine Chiefstick of Havre, 55, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity in the alley between First and Second streets at 1:50 this morning.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

An Eagle Rock Road reported a theft at 8:25 a.m. Thursday.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported south of Gildford at 1:07 p.m. Thursday.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller on 77th Avenue West reported Thursday at 7:06 p.m. that a neighbor was shooting a gun.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four medium-hair cats, two long-hair cats, one 13-week-old medium hair kitten and a medium-hair 9-month-old kitten, all of unknown gender; two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats. An additional four cats were being held for the trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a male mixed-breed 6-month-old puppy, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog, a male mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy and a female mixed-breed 7-month-old puppy.
