Edward Jones and Alzheimer's Association partner, Pizza Hut fundraiser set for Thursday

Press release

The Alzheimer’s Association and financial services firm Edward Jones have entered into an historic partnership, whereby Edward Jones has committed $4.7 million over two years to support the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association, Havre area Alzheimer’s Association Ambassador and Edward Jones financial advisor Jennifer Tilleman said.

The team is giving local residents a chance to help the partnership this Thursday with a fundraiser at Havre’s Pizza Hut.

Funding through the partnership will enhance the association’s care and support programs, including the 24/7 Helpline at 1-800-272-3000 and provide educational materials on brain health as well as funds for critical Alzheimer’s disease research and grassroots awareness activities.

“With more than 13,000 branch office locations in the United States, this commitment from Edward Jones will move the Alzheimer’s cause forward,” Alzheimer’s Association Chief Development Officer Donna McCullough said. “Together we will reach more families who need information, resources and guidance as they face an Alzheimer’s diagnosis and caregiving challenges. In addition, funding will support critical research exploring the causes of, and treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.”

In the local Edward Jones office fundraiser Thursday, when people say they are donating to the Alzheimer Association while paying for any dine-in or carry out purchase at Pizza Hut, 20 percent of the purchase price will benefit the Montana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
