Lance J. Young was given three years of probation after pleading guilty to a charge alleging he possessed methamphetamine.
Young was charged Aug. 3 with a felony count of criminal possession of dangerous drugs and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia after police officers investigating an apparent fight at a car found a syringe in his possession. Young refused to allow his vehicle to be searched. After obtaining a search warrant, officers found apparent meth under the seat of the vehicle.
Young pleaded guilty to the felony March 12 in a plea agreement.
April 9, District Judge David Cybulski imposed a three-year deferred imposition of sentence on Young.
If he abides by all conditions of Cybulski’s order, after the three years Young can request to have the charge struck from his record.
