Havre Police Department

An officer making a motor vehicle stop on 13th Street at 10:01 a.m. Tuesday arrested James Edward Sinclair of Havre, 59, on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license.

After receiving a call from Fourth Avenue at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday about an erratic driver, officers arrested Matthew Dean Weaving of Box Elder, 26, on Justice/City court warrants.

Officers assisting another agency on a call described as “out with vehicle stolen from the city” on the 1100 Block of First Street at 12:38 p.m. Tuesday made two arrests. Details of the arrests were not listed in the dispatch log.

Officers stopping a vehicle southbound on 14th Avenue at 5:45 p.m.Tuesday possibly driven by a suspect with a warrant reported the driver ran away. They arrested John Joseph Bear Jr. of Havre, 30, on a Justice/City court warrant and a charge of obstructing a peace officer or public servant.

After receiving a complaint at 6:24 p.m. Tuesday officers made a traffic stop at 6:26 p.m Tuesday on the arrested Ty J. Bauer of Havre, 26, on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and careless driving — failure to drive carefully and prudently.

After a caller from 15th Avenue reported at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday that a fight was going on in the neighborhood, officers arrested Jeremie Daniel Brandon of Havre, 42, on a Justice/City court warrant.

Officers making a motor vehicle stop at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday on Fifth Avenue arrested Ralph Chatfield Preston of Rudyard, 62, on charges of DUI and careless driving.

Officers investigated a report made at 10:40 p.m. from Second Street that someone was in an apartment that should be vacant.

Ofter receiving a report from 15th Avenue at 12:37 this morning that someone was knocking on doors and windows, officers arrested Louis Joseph Morsette Jr. of Havre, 20, on a Justice/City court warrant and a charge of obstructing a peace officer or public servant.

After receiving a complaint at 2:52 this morning from 15th Avenue that people were being loud outside the caller’s residence, officers arrested Jordan Miles Hobson of Havre, 27, on Justice/City court warrants.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy making a motor vehicle stop on Pork Chop Hill on U.S. Highway 2 east of Havre issued a summons to Amber Lynn Wolf of Butte, 19, on a charge of reckless driving and to Mikela Rae Gardipee of Butte, 18, on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Havre emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Tuesday and one this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, one long-hair cat, one 11-week-old medium hair kitten and a medium-hair 9-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog and a female mixed-breed 7-month-old puppy.
