Havre’s Lions Swim Team took six swimmers to Great Falls last weekend, and brought home one first-place and three second-place finishes.
“This was our first competition for the long course season; a great start to the season with 20 personal bests,” new Lions Swim Team coach Hayley Coursey said.
In Great Falls, Ainsley Courtnage took first in the 25 breaststroke, taking off eight seconds for a personal best, and took second in the 50 breaststroke and 25 backstroke.
Isaac Cammon brought home a second-place finish, for the 25 breaststroke in his first time swimming the event. He had a personal best in all of the events he swam, with his biggest time drop in the 50 freestyle, an 11-second time cut.

Elizabeth Carroll and Kate Hemmer both had personal best in all of their events and both having the biggest drop in the 50 backstroke, Carroll with a 7-second drop and Hemmer with a 14-second time drop.
Noah Siemens also competed in Great Falls, his first competition.
