Havre Police Department

A First Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 7:34 a.m. that a car was broken into during the night and a backpack with a laptop and textbooks was stolen.

At 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, a First Street caller reported a teenager was refusing to go to school.

A non-injury vehicle crash between a gold Suburban and a red Dodge car was reported Wednesday at 8:05 a.m. at Sixth Avenue West and First Street.

A caller at an 11th Street West business reported Wednesday at 11:43 a.m. that a man stole wine earlier in the morning.

An arrest was made after a Wednesday 1:36 p.m. caller reported a man in an altercation with his girlfriend at Ninth Street and Fifth Avenue. Rebekah Danielson, named as an involved party in the incident, was listed in the jail roster as being held on charges of assault with a weapon and partner or family member assault. No bail amount was listed.

A 10th Street West caller reported a missing phone Wednesday at 3:14 p.m.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at 3:32 p.m. Wednesday at an 11th Street West business.

Wednesday at 4:29 p.m., someone at the police station reported a theft, forgery or fraud.

A summons was issued during a vehicle stop on Fourth Street Wednesday at 4:41 p.m. No details on charges were provided.

Miranda Lynn Bautista of Havre, 41, was arrested during a vehicle stop on Seventh Street Wednesday at 5:07 p.m. on charges of violation of a protective order and resisting arrest. The vehicle stop was related to a 5:02 p.m. report from Washington Avenue of a restraining order violation.

Someone on 13th Street asked Wednesday at 8:40 p.m. to speak with an officer about suspicious activity.

A Wednesday 9:03 p.m. report of someone out past curfew was referred to another agency.

A hit-and-run vehicle crash involving a silver Mitsubishi on Seventh Avenue was reported at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday.

A Third Street caller reported a disturbance Wednesday at 10:03 p.m.

A summons was issued after a First Street caller reported a missing juvenile Wednesday at 10:26 p.m.

Today at 1:54 a.m., a caller at a First Street business reported a hit-and-run vehicle crash.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Someone reported lost or found property on 16th Avenue West Wednesday at 7:31 a.m.

Vandalism was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business at 10:01 a.m. Wednesday.

--

A caller on Second Street North reported suspicious activity at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, one long-hair cat and a medium-hair 9-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog and two male mixed-breed 22-week-old puppies.
