Shawn E. Sargent, 46, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Hospital on Monday, May 6, 2019.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m., with his celebration of life service taking place at 2:00 p.m., all on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel.
Shawn's family has suggested memorial donations be made in his name to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

Shawn was born on April 7, 1973, in Havre to Kenneth "Clyde" and Janice (Belcourt) Sargent. He was raised in Havre, attending school there. Following his high school years, Shawn attended Northern Montana College for a year, taking his general credits courses. The next year, he began working for the railroad as a carman, and remained there until his death.
Shawn was a generous, kindhearted man who adored his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fly fishing, golf, baseball, hockey, history, and listening to '80s and '90s rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Janice Sargent, and his grandparents, Jolene and Kenneth Sargent and Pearl and Edward Belcourt.
Shawn is survived by his siblings, Robin (Scott) Schwartzbach and Tina (Lance) Cook of Big Sandy, Wendy (Ryan) Murphy of Helena, Sandy (Randy) Solomon and Scott (Carissa) Sargent of Havre, and Kari (Jack Murray) Sargent of Rudyard; many cherished nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
