Joyce Huntley of Havre, 26, was arrested on charges of criminal child endangerment, endangering the welfare of children, driving under the influence, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a driver's license, failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance and operating a vehicle with fictitious plates, during a vehicle stop on First Avenue West today at 12:55 a.m.

A caller on U.S. Highway 2 West at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday reported an arrest warrant scam.
Havre Fire Department
A firetruck and an ambulance responded to trash bin fire reported at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday on the 3400 block of U.S. Highway 2 Northeast. The fire was put out and no one was injured.
Havre Animal Shelter
The Havre shelter this morning held five medium-hair cats, one short-hair cat, a medium-hair 17-week-old kitten and a medium-hair 8-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats. One cat is being held for the trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning three female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog, a male miniature pinscher dog and two male mixed-breed 21-week-old puppies.
