Sydney Wilting, Havre High Softball

Every softball player dreams of days like the one Havre High's Sydney Wilting had at last Saturday's Havre Invitational. In the Blue Ponies' sweep of Cut Bank and Conrad, Wilting went 4-for-6 at the plate with a whopping nine RBIs. She also blasted two home runs, including a grand slam Saturday morning. Wilting, who is also a standout in volleyball and basketball at HHS, had all nine of her RBIs come in Havre's win over Cut Bank.

Jakob Keller, Havre High Track

In what was his final two races ever at the Havre Middle School Track, Havre High senior Jakob Keller went out in style. In Saturday's Havre Invitational, Keller ran a 4:58.50 to win the boys 1,600 meters at the HMS Track. Keller also finished second in the faster 800 meters, with a time of 2:21.59, while adding a third-place finish in the 400-yard dash in 58.88. Keller has also been a strong runner for the HHS cross country team the last four years.
