Havre Police Department

A Havre area caller reported at 10:33 a.m. Thursday giving out her Social Security number to a scam caller.

Officers were asked at 2:47 p.m. Thursday to assist Child and Family Services with a domestic disturbance that happened the previous night.

An officer initiated an investigation during a vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue Thursday at 5:39 p.m.

A caller with UPS reported a suspicious package Thursday at 6 p.m.

--

At 6:43 p.m. Thursday, a Saddle Butte Drive caller reported a burglary.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A vehicle crash reported Thursday at 3:08 p.m. on County Road 448 west of Box Elder was referred to another law enforcement agency.

Deputies served a warrant at Hill County Detention Center Thursday at 4:55 p.m., but no details about the charges were provided.

A caller reported a theft, forgery or fraud Thursday at 7:09 p.m. on County Road 462 West.

--

A caller on the Rookery Trail reported Thursday at 8:28 p.m. finding a purse with Native fabric design on it.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held four medium-hair cats, one short-hair cat, one long-hair cat, a medium-hair 16-week-old kitten and a medium-hair 8-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats. One cat is being held for the trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning four female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a female mixed-breed 16-week-old puppy, two male mixed-breed 21-week-old puppies and a male pit bull terrier dog.
